What makes you MV proud? I love seeing MV students and parents out in public who recognize me and say hello or share a hug!
1.You might not know that I was an artist in high school and had several types of work published in the Prairie Winds which is a South Dakota Magazine. Today, art inspires my crafting, designing, and organizing. Did you know that I own a small décor business called, The Rusty Door?
2.My favorite family tradition is heading out west to our cabin in the Hills and celebrating Christmas with friends and family. We cut down a Christmas tree, decorate together, watch for deer and other wildlife, go on sleighrides, watch the falling snow, and snuggle by the warm fire. It’s a magical time that I look forward to every year!
3. If I had to pick a karaoke song, the first one I’d pick would be, “Don’t Stop Believing,” by Journey. I love the lyrics that encourage me to keep on believing in myself, in my family & friends, and especially in my students and to NEVER give up no matter how hard things may seem. This song inspires me every time I hear it!
