These students work hard on their academics, volunteer to help out in the classroom, and show kindness/respect to their peers.
They were presented certificates by current members of the National Honor Society.
The sophomores are giving demonstration speeches. We have a variety of speech topics: how to change a tire, set up a tree-stand saddle, make puppy chow, braid hair, perform color guard moves, fold a paper airplane, apply makeup, carve a pumpkin, curl hair, construct a paper boat, bake a cake and cupcakes, and finally, rig up a fishing pole. It has been a fun week! Here are a few pictures.

Students in PreK-5 learned about the voting process by creating identification cards and participating in our mock election held at the school. Each voter received an "I voted" sticker.
All State Chorus & Orchestra! The kids have been hard at work preparing for the concert at 7pm today, which will be broadcast on PBS!

The 5th grade told their "Spooky Stories" today. We worked on reading with expression and focused on the use of proper transition words as well as using sensory details!
The MVP Titans will host the St. Thomas More Cavaliers in 11B action Thursday night in Mount Vernon. Kickoff for this game will be at 6pm! This is the 2nd round of playoffs and it will be played an hour earlier than last week. Hope to see you at Heroes' Field to cheer on the boys! #RollTitans
Game day!! The Lady Titans host the Sanborn Central - Woonsocket Blackhawks tonight in Mount Vernon for the final game of the regualr season. It is also Senior Night and we will recognize those girls before the Varsity game. JH will begin at 4pm with C, JV, and Varsity to follow. Live Stream will be on MVP Titans Live.
The Plankinton Service Club is hosting the Dueling Duos on Friday Nov 8th starting at 8pm at the Ag Building. Snacks and social hour starting at 7pm. Purchase your reserved tickets at Krohmer Agency or F&M State Bank for $40. You can also purchase tickets at the door for $50. Ages 21 and over - BYOB. Proceeds will be used in creation of a Frisbee Golf Course as well as for a safe path for kids from the pool to the ballpark. Matching funds up to $1000 from Modern Woodmen #7477.
