Mount Vernon Juniors attended College Planning Days, the Career Expo, and toured Mitchell Technical College yesterday as part of our Career, Life and College Readiness activities. We are lucky to have these opportunities so close to home!

MVP just finished our first marching band competition of the year in Platte! Still waiting on awards, but the kids played fantastic, and we had a great run of the show!

The 8th graders had Game Day today. They had fun playing board games and cards. Great alternatives to electronics!





Reminder: Picture day is tomorrow - Friday 9/20. Band Students that are leaving for Platte are scheduled for 7:30 am so they are ready to leave by 8 am. Younger siblings and children are welcome to come get their pictures taken also between 7:45 and 8 am. You can go to www.marksphotoimages.com to order prior to tomorrow.
